DIY Chevron Clutch

Before I had a baby, I used to have a purse all to myself and didn't have to share with anyone. Just like every other mom, when you have a baby, you need a bag full of baby essentials. I found myself digging through my diaper bag one day looking for my chapstik and had a hard time finding it due to all the diapers, wipes, and toys. Later that day I had a light bulb moment and thought about making my own little clutch for easy access to my things. This clutch is not only for moms; anyone can make and wear this. It's very easy to make and perfect for beginners of DIY projects using the sewing machine. Here is how you make it:

You will need to cut your fabric (Pattern fabric and Muslin cloth) the same size: 15 X 9.

1.Place your muslin fabric over the top of your pattern fabric.
2.Sew all the way around leaving an opening on one side to slide your felt in.
3.Flip right-side out.

Cut your felt fabric 13 X 8 and slide into the case you just made.

Tuck in the fabric from the opening, pin, and sew shut.

1. Fold the side you just sewed together 5 inches over.
2. Hold in place and sew all 3 sides.
3. It should look like image 3.

Hand sew your snaps and button on top, and you are done!
