A few weeks ago I was shopping in Pottery Barn outlet. I noticed an amazing mirror and thought to myself, "Surely I can make something similar to this", and I did. I decorated my son's room with accessories that are nautical and this mirror is a perfect fit in his room.

Supplies:
KOLJA Round Mirror - Ikea
Manila Rope - Lowes
Liquid Nails Projects - Lowes
Tape - Lowes
Anchor - Hobby Lobby (optional)
Tools:
Sharp utility knife
Hot glue gun
Caulking gun
Measure out how much rope you will need to go around the mirror and cut with a sharp utility knife.
Start by applying a small amount of glue to the edge of the mirror to secure the rope. Continue to do this all the way around.
Secure the glued rope with painters tape and let it try for 24 hours.
The next day, follow the steps above to add a second layer of rope underneath the first layer. Secure with painters tape and let it dry for 24 hours.
After 2 days of patiently waiting for the glue to cure and dry. Hot glue the anchor to the mirror.

Hi Erin, the anchor is made from foam but it looks like iron. You could check to see if hobby lobby sells in online.
