I absolutely adore Pottery Barn but to be honest I cannot see myself buying a $300 clock from there no matter how much I love it.

Our Wedding

On August 20, 2011 John and I tied the knot & our wedding was everything I wanted and more. Beside the day I became a mom-- our wedding day will always be my favorite day. We have known each other for quite some time, since we were in the same church. I never thought we would ever be together because we were always friends, until December 9, 2009 when he asked me to be his girlfriend (it was so sweet and he was really nervous and I was screaming like a little girl in my head). I'm 110% sure God put us together--a few months later he asked me to marry him, and a tied the knot a year after that.

Black Bean & Corn Ranch Dip
Did I ever mention dips are huge in my house? Well, they are. This is one of my many favorites because it's so easy and super fast to make, and best of all it's delicious. I made this for the guys during football season and they all asked me how to make it, so here it is.

HOW TO SPRAY PAINT GLASS
I've always had a love/hate relationship with my dining room walls -- I could never get them to look just right. They were either to plain or to crowded. It took about one year for me to find the idea of putting plates on the wall. Duh! A few weeks ago, I saw this post on a favorite blog of mine and I knew with a few trips to the thrift store I could pull this off. So I went to goodwill a few times and found the plates I liked. I didn't care so much about what color they were as long as they had a nice shape to them. Oh and of course, best of all this only cost me $20.

Thrifty Coffee Table Tray
I've been on the lookout for a tray to add on my coffee table and while I was at my local Goodwill I saw this tray, and it was what I've been looking for. You want to know the story behind it? Sure you do! While browsing the aisles I saw a lady examining this tray and in my head I was going, "please put it back, PLEASE put it back!"-- I really wanted that tray as you can tell. I hung around that aisle for a little bit and I saw her put it back!!! YAY! I quickly ran to grab it and I knew with a little paint this would make the perfect tray for my coffee table! Best of all this project cost me $3! Now that my friends, is a bargain.

Easy French Macaroons
I always thought macaroons were way overrated until I tried one and let me tell you I was BLOWN AWAY! I loved everything about them, from the crunchy yet chewy texture to the deliciously sweet flavor. Although they are really amazing, the price on these little suckers are scary, I paid $5 for 3!!! Yes, you saw it right FIVE DOLLARS for THREE!!! Do you know what I can do with 5 dollars? A whole lot more than buy 3 little macaroons. So I did a little research on how to make these bad boys and I found the easiest recipe here. I filled mine with Nutella because I didn't want to spend time making a filling if the cookies didn't turn out right. (and let me tell you... I was literally doing my happy dance after I pulled them out of the oven.)

DIY Rosette Wreath
I like to think wreaths aren't just for the holiday season, they are like a warm welcome on your front door waiting to greet your guests when they come to visit. I love when I see a house with a beautiful wreath on the door. This wreath is super easy and very inexpensive to make –- I purchased everything for under $10!

No-Sew Pillows
Before I learned how to sew, I thought it was impossible to make anything that required a sewing machine, until my sister-in-law introduced me to heat n bond tape. This miracle product will save you from having to use a sewing machine. In the past, I used hem tape to make table runners, curtains, even hem jeans! Here is how I make one of my favorite projects using the hem tape -- PILLOWS!! I'm constantly changing my throw pillows throughout the house and I don't always have the time to sew. So, without further adieu... I will let the pictures show you how to make them.

DIY Felt Flower Pin
Anyone who knows me know that I love making flowers out of fabric. This year I was asked to make these pins for the children's Easter program for my church. I had to make quite a few so, I had to come up with something that would be easy to make and look cute. So this is what I came up with. They are quite easy to make and are really cute to wear with anything that needs a little accessory. Ok ok, enough talking here is how you make it.

Smoked Salmon Spread
One of my dads hobbies is to smoke different types of meats, in fact he loves it so much that he designed and built his own smoker in his backyard along with an awesome brick oven. This past winter he smoked some salmon and it turned out amazingly delicious. My husband and I are really big on dips and spreads, so I decided to make this one by using the salmon my dads smoked and it's a winner, everyone whose tried it said it was really creamy and delicious. It's made with cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and fresh chives. Bring this to any party and you'll have people complimenting you left and right. So, here is how you make it.

DIY Chevron Cork Board
I was doing some spring cleaning around the house when I ran into a cork board I bought some time ago from Goodwill. As I was walking towards the trash can, the idea of making it into a chevron board popped into my head.
